We started Puck because we believe the hiring process has become too mechanical. By replacing simple checkboxes with audio clips and data analytics, we help companies showcase their true culture and character to find the right people. We are looking for someone who wants to help us build a more human way to connect teams, and we would love for you to join us on this mission.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, specifically for those located in the SF Bay Area. You will report directly to our Co-Founder and CEO, giving you the chance to make a significant impact while working alongside a founding team that places a high value on design.
What will you do?
- Conduct deep user research to uncover the attitudes and behaviors of our customers, using those insights to drive product innovation.
- Create everything from initial wireframes and interactive prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups using Figma.
- Partner with our sales and marketing teams to develop branded materials, including social assets and sales decks, that help mature our brand identity.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have 5 to 8 years of professional design experience and a strong desire to work in an early-stage startup environment. We value candidates who are naturally curious, humble, and possess a sharp eye for detail. You must be fluent in English and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Your technical toolkit should include:
- A deep understanding of visual design principles like layout, typography, and color.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle various projects.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to prototype your ideas effectively.
- A portfolio that clearly showcases your grasp of visual and interaction design basics.
What's in it for you?
We are committed to supporting our team members both inside and outside of the office. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid parental leave to support you and your family.
- A flexible hybrid work culture with access to our San Francisco office.
- A dedicated learning budget to help you continue growing your skills.
