Since 2015, OpenZeppelin has served as the global leader in securing blockchain applications and smart contracts. Our mission is to protect the open economy, and we provide the industry standard for smart contract development through our open source libraries and the Defender security platform. We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our product team and help us enable developers to build, audit, and deploy projects more safely than ever before.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the Americas or EMEA regions. As our first full-time product designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our security tools.
What will you do?
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end UI/UX process, from initial concept and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and final execution.
- Conduct user research and analyze product data to create intuitive interfaces that help our users succeed.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to maintain our design language and implement effective design methodologies across the organization.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience designing products for developers, backed by a strong portfolio that demonstrates a refined aesthetic. We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated and comfortable owning projects from start to finish. You should be a master of modern design tools such as Figma or Adobe. Because we work as a distributed team, you must be a collaborative communicator who values feedback and works well with others. Proficiency in English is required, and experience with web3 products or security software is a significant plus.
