What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Ruby Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a 100% remote position open to candidates located in North America, South America, or Europe. You will be reporting to our Staff Software Engineer and playing a key role in building the next generation of our BKDR platform.

What will you do?

• Build innovative, consumer-facing mobile products while evolving our architecture to meet future needs and supporting our product roadmap.
• Collaborate within an agile environment alongside our Design, Product, Marketing, and Support teams to address user needs effectively.
• Take ownership of solutions from start to finish, including initial design and requirements gathering, coding, refactoring, and ongoing maintenance.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should have 5 to 7 or more years of software development experience and a degree in computer science or equivalent practical knowledge. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator and comfortable working in a remote environment where pairing and screen-sharing are common parts of the daily workflow. Your technical toolkit should include:

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and either React or JavaScript.
• Experience with full-stack development, specifically using Ruby and AWS.
• A solid understanding of design and architecture patterns.
• A data-driven mindset and a natural sense for web application usability.
• A proven track record of driving products independently with a strong sense of ownership.
