Role at a glance
We are looking for a Mid-Level Controls Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will be a vital part of our efforts to industrialize custom equipment, working directly with our mechanical and process engineering teams to ensure our systems are robust, efficient, and ready for high-volume manufacturing.
Your impact
- Take ownership of hardware selection and software development for the control systems powering our custom-designed equipment.
- Build and maintain SCADA and data architecture to support our analytical data pipelines and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, test, and validate control strategies that optimize our cutting-edge production machinery.
What you'll need
- At least 2 years of professional experience in industrial automation and controls.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation, alongside experience managing SQL databases.
- Hands-on expertise with industrial control networks, PLC programming, and HMI development.
- Familiarity with SCADA platforms, specifically Ignition, and industrial communication protocols like Ethernet/IP or Modbus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive mindset for troubleshooting electrical schematics and solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
