At WorkOS, we are building the developer platform that makes applications enterprise-ready. Our mission is to provide the tools and services that allow developers to easily implement complex features like Single Sign-On, Directory Sync, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Audit Logs. We are a fully distributed team spanning US and EU time zones, backed by an $80M Series B funding round. Our platform is trusted by hundreds of rapidly growing SaaS companies, including industry leaders like Webflow, Vercel, Plaid, Loom, and Drata.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Content Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary voice for our engineering team, crafting technical blogs and content that resonate with our developer community. You will bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and clear, compelling communication. By working closely with our engineering and developer success teams, you will help shape our content strategy and ensure our educational resources remain at the forefront of the identity industry.
A day in the life
- Research, write, and edit high-quality technical blog posts that educate and inspire our developer audience.
- Collaborate with our engineering and developer success teams to translate intricate technical details into accessible articles, FAQs, and documentation.
- Partner with our SEO team to support our organic content growth and brainstorm creative new formats like videos and case studies.
Who you are
You are a skilled communicator with a strong technical background. You have at least 2 years of experience writing technical content specifically for developer-focused audiences, and you can provide a portfolio that showcases your work. We prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field. You possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments. If you have familiarity with Identity and Access Management or security technologies, that is a significant bonus.
