AI/ML Software Engineer at Coda

Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing applied AI solutions that help our users summarize data, generate content, and build custom applications through simple prompts.

Your impact

• Take ownership of the technical direction and prioritization for our AI initiatives, deciding when to build proprietary solutions versus integrating third-party tools to maximize user value.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to weave AI capabilities seamlessly into every surface of the Coda platform.
• Ensure our customers receive a high-quality experience by participating in engineering on-call rotations to manage production issues and support needs.

What you'll need

• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent practical background.
• A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in machine learning, specifically focusing on Natural Language Processing and the training or application of large language models.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with major frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• A proven track record of managing the full lifecycle of model development, including data collection, training, evaluation, and production deployment.
• A self-motivated mindset and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.

Perks and compensation
