What you bring

We are seeking a Senior AI ML Engineer for this full-time, hybrid position that can be based anywhere in the United States. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI strategy, working closely with our Head of AI Engineering to integrate machine learning into the core of our product. Your daily contributions will involve:

• Designing and building applied AI solutions that solve complex user problems by leveraging Large Language Models and custom model training.
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to embed AI features across all Coda surfaces, ensuring they deliver genuine value to our users.
• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of our models, including data collection, training, evaluation, and productionization.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with at least 6 years of experience in software engineering and a strong background in machine learning. You should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically focused on training and deploying Natural Language Processing models. Proficiency in Python and major frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential. We value individuals who are self-motivated, thrive when faced with difficult technical challenges, and possess the ability to communicate effectively in English.
