Are you ready to redefine how teams collaborate and work together? At Coda, we have built an all-in-one workspace that transforms documents into powerful, app-like tools. Our mission is to make work more organized and efficient, and with the recent launch of Coda AI, we are providing users with an intelligent assistant that understands their data and automates complex workflows. We are backed by top-tier venture capitalists and have gathered a world-class team across the United States. We invite you to join us as we push the boundaries of what our product can achieve.
What you bring
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI strategy and building applied solutions that solve real user problems. This is a full-time, hybrid position that can be performed from anywhere in the United States. You will leverage Large Language Models and advanced Machine Learning techniques to help our users summarize data, generate content, and build custom applications through natural language. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Guiding the technical direction and prioritization of AI features, including deciding when to build in-house solutions versus integrating third-party tools.
- Partnering closely with product and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities across all Coda surfaces.
- Participating in on-call rotations to support our customers and maintain live production systems.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong foundation in Software Engineering and a passion for innovation. You should have at least six years of industry experience, including three years specifically focused on Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and the deployment of Large Language Models. Proficiency in Python and experience with major frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential. We value individuals who have managed the full lifecycle of model development, from initial data collection and training to evaluation and production. You should be a motivated problem-solver who thrives in challenging environments and communicates fluently in English.
What we offer
We are dedicated to providing a competitive compensation package that reflects your expertise and the scope of this role, with a salary range of $150,000 to $250,000. We also support our team members with a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to care for you and your family:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- A 401k retirement plan.
- Flexible work arrangements, including options for remote or hybrid schedules.
- Commuter benefits to support your travel needs.
How to Apply
If you are excited about the prospect of building the future of collaborative software with a team of industry veterans, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our engineering department and help us take Coda to the next level.
