Software Engineer at Miter

We are changing that by using AI and embedded payments to rebuild the core HR, finance, and operations systems that power our physical economy. We are building the operating system for the built world, and we are just getting started.

The role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere. While this is a junior-level role requiring approximately 12 months of experience, we prioritize talent density, ownership, and a strong desire to build. You will join a high-performing engineering culture that values craft, collaboration, and the ability to ship high-quality code.

Core responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the products and systems that power our core platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Actively participate in the blueprinting process, conduct thorough code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for solving complex problems. We work in a full-stack environment where engineers take ownership of projects from start to finish. Our tech stack is centered around TypeScript, and you will be working with the following tools:

• React and React Native
• Node.js and Express
• MongoDB
