Software Engineer - React Native at Creative Chaos

We are currently looking for a mid-level Software Engineer with a focus on React Native to join our remote team in Pakistan. In this role, you will play a vital part in crafting front-end mobile applications that are secure, performant, and aligned with our design standards. Key outcomes

• Translate business requirements into functional, high-quality code and comprehensive unit tests.
• Collaborate closely with team members to estimate tasks and provide regular status updates.
• Optimize applications to ensure top-tier performance and robust security.
• Maintain existing systems by resolving bugs and managing version control.
• Research emerging technologies to keep our development practices modern and efficient.
• Lead, mentor, and train junior team members to build collective team strength.
• Participate in the evaluation of new candidates to help grow our engineering department.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• One to three years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in rendering components using Native APIs.
• Deep knowledge of state management and routing libraries such as Redux.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, document request models, and offline storage solutions.
• Expertise in CSS, HTML, and writing code that is compatible across multiple platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and a clear understanding of software design patterns.
• Experience with collaboration and tracking tools like GitHub and JIRA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A versatile, flexible mindset with the ability to influence and lead team members effectively.

Preferred qualifications

• Practical experience working with native languages including Swift, Kotlin, Objective C, or Java.
