Fullstack Team Lead at Kayzen

Kayzen is a mobile demand-side platform that empowers leading brands and agencies to run high-performance programmatic advertising campaigns. We operate at an immense scale, processing over 160 billion daily ad requests from 1.6 billion unique users across 180 countries, and we are looking for a Fullstack Team Lead to help us continue building our sophisticated self-serve and managed service platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers while fostering a culture of high quality and technical ownership.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase, conduct code reviews, and establish rigorous coding standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive, user-centric features.
• Define the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for our fullstack applications.
• Integrate AI-powered coding agents and automated testing into your daily workflow to set the pace for the team.
• Architect AI-first UI patterns, moving beyond static dashboards toward generative, prompt-driven interfaces.
• Manage the execution gap by breaking down complex roadmaps into high-velocity sprints.
• Recruit and onboard new engineering talent to grow the team.

Must-haves

• At least 10 years of professional fullstack development experience, with a primary focus on modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role for a fullstack team.
• Deep expertise in at least one major framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong proficiency in building complex, data-heavy interfaces with real-time visualizations.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or similar tools.
• Solid grasp of testing methodologies using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful API design.
• Proven ability to use AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a pragmatic, startup-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the ad-tech industry or working with real-time bidding platforms.
• Experience building interfaces for AI or machine learning products.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt-driven UI design.
• A history of contributions to open-source projects.
