Senior Frontend Engineer at Jito.wtf

At JTX, we are redefining the trading experience by building a platform that pairs the incredible speed of Solana market infrastructure with a user interface that feels truly responsive. We have already achieved product-market fit, and our live application is currently supported by a small, high-impact team of two frontend engineers. We are looking for a third engineer to join us as we scale our operations, harden our existing systems, and expand our reach into mobile markets.

Key outcomes

• Take full ownership of the JTX client across both web and mobile platforms.
• Develop high-performance trading interfaces, including order books, advanced charts, and real-time execution visibility.
• Manage complex data streams and optimize render budgets to ensure a smooth experience even on mid-range hardware.
• Design and implement secure wallet and transaction signing flows for our users.
• Establish architectural standards that will support our growth as we scale our codebase and user base by an order of magnitude.
• Collaborate closely with our design and infrastructure teams to ship features rapidly while maintaining a high quality bar.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally involving real-time, data-dense, or financial applications.
• Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of performance optimization and component lifecycles.
• Proven experience in mobile development using React Native or Expo.
• Strong technical fundamentals regarding browser performance, memory management, WebSockets, and network behavior.
• A security-conscious mindset, particularly regarding transaction signing, key handling, and sensitive data protection.
• The ability to balance business requirements with engineering constraints and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building or maintaining trading terminals, exchange frontends, or consumer fintech applications.
• Background in high-frequency data visualization, such as working with Canvas or WebGL.
• Familiarity with the Solana or EVM ecosystems, including specific experience with wallet integrations.
• Experience managing a public TypeScript library or a robust design system.
