What you'll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain new features while keeping our existing services reliable and performant.
- Develop and run high-volume data scrapers that meet evolving business needs, then integrate the resulting data into our internal systems.
- Review code, share best practices, and help the team maintain high engineering standards across projects, frameworks, and microservices.
What you'll bring
You bring at least five years of hands-on Python experience and a solid background in data engineering. You're comfortable working with AWS services, Redis, and queue systems such as Celery or Dramatiq, and you know your way around relational databases like MySQL. Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI is important, as is the ability to communicate clearly in fluent English. A basic understanding of machine learning concepts is also helpful.
It's a plus if you've created products used by developers or data professionals, worked with large-scale scraping or Big Data workloads, used ElasticSearch, or simply enjoy writing clean, well-tested code. We value proactive teammates who pay close attention to detail and like learning from others.
What you'll get
We offer a salary range of $54,000 - $62,000 USD gross. In addition, you'll receive:
