Baton serves as the Silicon Valley-based technology innovation lab for Ryder, a logistics leader managing 260,000 trucks and 7.4 billion dollars in freight. We offer the agility and autonomy of a startup environment while providing the stability and reach of a major industry player. Our mission is to eliminate supply chain waste by developing a digital platform that addresses the millions of hours lost to idling and inefficient routing each year. We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Hayes Valley, San Francisco, to help us rethink and improve these complex systems.
Key outcomes
- Lead the product development lifecycle alongside our team of engineers and designers.
- Develop a deep understanding of our users and the broader supply chain industry.
- Manage the product backlog and contribute to road-mapping efforts for your specific product area.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure projects are executed effectively.
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships across all cross-functional departments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working as a product manager for digital products.
- A strong passion for designing simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Proven ability to remain resourceful, curious, and pragmatic in your approach to problem-solving.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position ranges from 77,000 USD to 154,000 USD, depending on your experience, skill level, and proficiencies. In addition to the base salary, we offer the following benefits:
