We combine the agility of a startup with the reach and stability of a publicly traded enterprise, and we are now hiring a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the productivity and scalability of our engineering organization.
Key outcomes
- Scale our cloud infrastructure to deliver measurable cost efficiency while maintaining reliability.
- Design, build, and maintain internal engineering tooling that measurably increases developer velocity.
- Implement and operate production-grade infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes using modern Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Translate complex operational and product requirements into clear technical solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python with a substantial body of production-grade code.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS and Kubernetes in large-scale environments.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including the ability to mentor engineers and manage planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives.
- Strong product intuition and the ability to identify opportunities that deliver clear business value.
- Professional fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in software development or DevOps roles.
- Experience operating services that require 24/7 availability.
- Proven success in improving engineering productivity and scaling cloud infrastructure.
- Broad, up-to-date knowledge of contemporary cloud and DevOps technologies.
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 – $296,000. Total compensation also includes an annual performance bonus, a long-term incentive plan, and eligibility for the Employee Stock Purchase Program at a 15 percent discount to market value. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with company match, hybrid work schedule, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
