Baton serves as the Silicon Valley-based innovation lab for Ryder, combining the agility of a startup with the massive reach of a logistics giant that manages 260,000 trucks and billions in freight. We are looking for a visionary Senior Product Manager to help us eliminate supply chain waste by building the next generation of freight technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire product development lifecycle, from initial discovery to final execution.
- Design and build a modern Transportation Management System for a business unit handling over $1 billion in freight.
- Identify and resolve technical constraints that currently limit our business growth.
- Research and propose strategies to define both our short-term roadmap and our long-term vision for the next decade.
- Collaborate with design teams to prototype and ideate new features across complex logistics workflows.
- Manage cross-departmental relationships to execute projects that impact every part of our organization.
- Maintain a forward-thinking mindset to shape our technology strategy for the future.
Must-haves
- Proven experience building products from the ground up and delivering high-quality user experiences.
- Background in shipping web or user-facing applications.
- Strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Capacity to execute complex initiatives with minimal guidance.
- Analytical skills backed by data to support your recommendations and assumptions.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including 5 or more years specifically in product management.
- Experience working within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Comfort navigating ambiguous situations and the fast-paced nature of a growing startup.

The annual base salary for this role is $120,000 to $190,000, depending on your experience and skills.
