CleanSpark, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLSK) is America's Bitcoin Miner, and we are currently looking for a Head of Software Development to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. We operate data centers that primarily utilize low-carbon power to support Bitcoin, which we view as an essential tool for financial independence and inclusion. As a member of our team, you will help shape the future of responsible mining and contribute to the growth of a company dedicated to transparency and trust.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership by aligning our software development initiatives with company goals, driving innovation in our processes, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the engineering team.
- Manage the software development team through effective recruitment, performance management, and mentorship to ensure we maintain a high-performing and inclusive work environment.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of software projects, including technical architecture, design, and project management, while utilizing Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within software development, demonstrating a history of delivering complex projects.
- Technical proficiency in coding languages such as Python and PHP.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, Agile development, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in the Bitcoin mining industry is considered a significant plus.
