CleanSpark is America's Bitcoin Miner, and we are looking for a dedicated Firmware Technician to join our team. We operate data centers powered primarily by low-carbon energy, and we are committed to building a future for digital assets through responsible mining practices.

Responsibilities

Perform installations, updates, and configurations for firmware on our ASIC mining equipment.
Keep a close watch on miner performance metrics, including hashrate, temperature, and system logs.
Use SSH, diagnostic tools, and fleet dashboards to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Manage firmware-related escalations and work with internal teams to find quick resolutions.
Coordinate with our operations and networking departments to address system-wide challenges.
Keep our configuration data accurate within our fleet management platforms.
Document all procedures, changes, and results to ensure team alignment.
Analyze recurring problems to suggest long-term improvements for our infrastructure.
Create and maintain support documentation and internal checklists.
Stay updated on the latest firmware releases, vendor notes, and known bugs.

Must-haves

An associate degree in a technical field or at least 2 years of direct experience in Bitcoin mining.
Hands-on experience working with ASIC miners.
Familiarity with both stock and aftermarket firmware versions.
Proficiency with VPN, SSH, web interfaces, and standard miner toolkits.
Strong skills in log analysis, remote diagnostics, and making live configuration changes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently across different departments.
