Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior IT Field Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in the United States, requiring a candidate with extensive experience who is ready to take ownership of our technical infrastructure and support our growing operations.
Your impact
- Deliver comprehensive desktop support across our various locations while maintaining accurate logs of all onsite IT assets.
- Manage the physical setup, cable organization, and decommissioning of workstations for both office environments and mining site expansions.
- Provide end-to-end support for employee lifecycles, including hardware provisioning, access management, and remote troubleshooting for Windows, Office 365, and network peripherals.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We value candidates who can work independently and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in desktop and office support, with a bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Proficiency with Office 365, Windows environments, and network troubleshooting.
- The physical ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds regularly and the comfort level to handle power tools and basic electronics.
- A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle for frequent site travel, and the willingness to occasionally travel by plane to remote locations.
- Fluency in English.
- Preferred certifications include Cisco Certified Technician, various Microsoft Azure or Modern Desktop credentials, and ITIL 4 Foundation.
