Role at a glance
We are looking for a Junior Events Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based out of our Atlanta, GA center of excellence and follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days on-site and two days of remote work each week. You will assist our Senior Event Marketing Manager in executing tradeshows, industry conferences, and hosted events to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
Your impact
- Manage the end-to-end logistics for up to 60 events per year, ensuring every detail is handled from conception to completion.
- Collaborate across departments to execute promotional strategies, including social media campaigns and pre-and-post event email communications.
- Oversee essential event preparation, such as coordinating speakers, managing booth materials, and facilitating team kickoff calls to ensure everyone is aligned.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be an organized self-starter with a passion for event marketing. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in event marketing, preferably within a SaaS or tech startup environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo, Microsoft Office, and project management tools like ClickUp.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.
- The physical capability to stand for up to eight hours during events and lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Fluency in English.
