Picture a fully remote team of builders who believe that coding should belong to everyone, not just a tiny fraction of the world. At Sourcegraph we power Cody, the most accurate AI coding assistant, and our Code Search platform that helps developers explore massive codebases, execute large-scale migrations, and strengthen security. Our customers include four of the five FAANG companies, four of the world’s top ten banks, government agencies, Uber, Plaid, and many other organizations shaping the future. With $225 million raised at a $2.625 billion valuation from a16z, Sequoia, Redpoint, Craft, and others, we are doubling down on ambitious bets that will make Sourcegraph one of the most influential technology companies on the planet.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Demand Generation Manager who will own the creation and execution of programs that turn awareness into qualified pipeline. In this senior individual-contributor role you will design and run account-based, digital, and event initiatives that directly influence revenue. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing operations, and agencies to refine our ideal customer profile, nurture prospects through every funnel stage, and prove the impact of every dollar spent. As our marketing organization grows, this position carries a clear path to building and leading a team.
A day in the life
- Partnering with sales and marketing operations to launch and refine an account-based marketing program, tracking every stage from first touch to closed-won revenue.
- Designing and delivering a calendar of owned and third-party events, from intimate roundtables to major industry conferences, ensuring each moment resonates with our developer audience.
- Building reporting frameworks that connect digital campaigns, webinars, and field events to pipeline metrics, then using those insights to optimize spend and messaging in real time.
Who you are
You bring at least five years of B2B technology marketing experience, including two or more years owning both the strategy and day-to-day execution of events and digital campaigns. You have managed marketing-automation platforms, email programs, and Salesforce, and you have run account-based initiatives that moved the needle on sourced pipeline and influenced revenue. You are equally comfortable analyzing funnel data and crafting creative campaign concepts, and you thrive when juggling multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills allow you to translate complex results into clear narratives for cross-functional partners in product, sales, and customer experience. Experience in developer marketing is a plus, as is familiarity with HubSpot.
Why you'll love it here
Base salary for this role ranges from $107,000 USD to $134,000 USD, and every teammate sees compensation bands so we can stay transparent and competitive. In addition to cash pay we grant equity so you share in the company’s success, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes remote-work flexibility, equity compensation, flexible hours, generous paid time off, professional-development support, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401k plan. Because we are an all-remote company, you can work from anywhere in the United States or Canada as long as your hours overlap at least 40 hours per week with Pacific to Eastern time. Occasional travel of up to 15 percent (and up to 50 percent during peak conference seasons) keeps you connected with customers and teammates in person when it matters most.
