The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be a vital part of our quality-focused engineering group. You will take ownership of the programming process for our CNC machines, ensuring that our components meet the highest standards of excellence. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys technical challenges and wants to apply their expertise to help us maintain our commitment to quality in the aerospace sector.
A day in the life
- You will interpret complex customer drawings and specifications, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance, to ensure every project starts with precision.
- You will write and edit three, four, and five-axis programs for CNC mill machines, as well as handle CNC lathe programming, while designing necessary fixturing and modeling components.
- You will collaborate closely with machine operators, the quality lead, and management to troubleshoot machining issues and provide expert guidance on best practices while maintaining strict AS9100/ISO9001 documentation standards.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in precision machining and programming. You thrive in environments where attention to detail is paramount and you are comfortable working within the physical demands of a production setting. Your qualifications include:
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Programmer and 5 years of experience as a Machinist.
- Strong technical proficiency in MasterCam, with additional knowledge of Solidworks being a significant advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to follow instructions while working well with others in a team-oriented culture.
