We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Dev Tooling team on a full-time, remote basis. Our team acts as the engine behind Outreach, where we build the systems that drive developer productivity and ensure system reliability across the entire organization. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain standardized Kubernetes deployment patterns to support projects across the company.
- Design and implement robust monitoring libraries to track the health of our production systems.
- Develop comprehensive multi-service integration test frameworks that function seamlessly both locally and within our CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
We are seeking a senior-level engineer who is comfortable navigating a wide technical charter and enjoys both quick wins and long-term architectural investments. You should have a strong background in the following areas:
- Proven experience managing build systems and CI/CD workflows.
- A history of maintaining shared or open-source libraries.
- Deep familiarity with container-based services and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Golang, which is the primary language used by our team.
- Practical experience building production-grade monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, as this role involves supporting our most critical, high-traffic monolithic application.
