What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will report directly to our Head of Technology, focusing on the development, testing, and maintenance of our mission-critical software. Your work will involve utilizing a modern tech stack including TypeScript, Python, Go, Angular, Node.js, and AWS to solve complex problems in digital forensics and asset recovery. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable back-end microservices and secure APIs within our cloud infrastructure.
• Developing front-end web interfaces and robust database models to support our digital asset recovery platform.
• Performing advanced digital forensic tasks, such as parsing file systems, reverse engineering binary data structures, and developing pattern-matching algorithms.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess at least five years of software development experience, including three years of back-end expertise and two years of focused digital forensics work. You must be comfortable working in an agile environment and possess excellent communication skills to foster collaboration across our team. We require proficiency in SQL, Regex, and modern encryption libraries, alongside a deep understanding of AWS architecture and CI/CD pipelines. Please note that all applicants must be eligible for a U.S. Top Secret Clearance to be considered for this position, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time. A background in GovTech or highly regulated industries is considered a plus, as is a degree in Computer Science.
