What We Do at Anno
By 2025, the world will generate over 460 exabytes of data per day! Cameras will record 50 billion hours of daily video, while an additional 30 billion IoT devices will collect data from other sensor types. The dawn of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Era will unlock value from this data in use cases spanning massive markets including: supply chain, retail, marketing, national security, and law enforcement.
Founded in 2019, Anno.Ai builds AI-first applications designed to seamlessly enable powerful new end user capabilities. Driven to serve our customers mission and business needs, Anno.Ai’s applications are built to leverage machine learning (ML) and advanced analytics behind the scenes, delivering the valuable insights our customers need in a slick, easy to use interface. The result is AI that creates unbelievable and sustainable value for our customers: "this is science fiction made real."
Anno's team consists of researchers, former intelligence officers, military veterans, law enforcement, repeat startup founders, video game creators, hardware designers, and software engineers. Annomals are currently based in nine US states and three countries. The result is a hive of exciting innovation that has generated novel technologies and broken new ground in the field of AI.
While the human brain devotes 40% of its resources to vision, AI hasn't even begun to tap the potential of video and imagery. Anno is set for major growth in 2024 by growing our existing government contracts, which are already worth tens of millions of dollars, and aiming to at least double this with new contracts. After a big year in 2021, where we secured $15M in Series A funding and nearly tripled our government business revenue, we're now focusing on significantly increasing our government work. This effort will drive our expansion, supported by bringing in more customers and key new team members.

This opportunity is only for SkillBridge candidates only and is 100% remote.
Program Overview
As a SkillBridge fellow or intern, you will be embedded within functional and cross functional teams directly supporting our lines of business. You will be equipped, trained, and treated as one of us. The ideal program length is 90-150 days but there’s flexibility with timelines. An individualized Skillbridge Plan is created with each candidate to ensure they acquire or improve skills and get the experience and exposure necessary for a successful transition from active-duty service. Candidates are matched to teams within engineering and data science divisions and involved in day-to-day operations and tasks. If you’d like to learn or get more experience in the areas of computer vision, distributed systems, edge-computing, and machine learning for cutting edge retail analytics while working for and alongside experts in these domains, Anno.Ai is the place for you.
Requirements:
- Background in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, software development, data science, or similar
- Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Spring, React, TypeScript, C/C++, C#/.NET technologies, SQL
- Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools
