The opportunity
We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and take a lead role in developing our gaming infrastructure products. This is a full-time, remote position where you will have the chance to influence our technical direction and help us build scalable, robust systems that support a global player base. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between complex blockchain technology and accessible, high-performance gaming.
A day in the life
- You will serve as a primary contributor to our advertising products, where you will leverage machine learning to build and refine sophisticated data processing systems.
- You will act as a mentor to junior engineers, guiding them through the best practices of tackling large, ambiguous technical challenges.
- You will focus on modernizing our architecture by migrating legacy systems into a highly scalable and maintainable state, while championing clean code paradigms like SOLID.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer who thrives when solving complex problems in distributed environments. You communicate clearly in English and have a strong foundation in computer science.
- You hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring over five years of professional experience building scalable backend systems.
- You are highly proficient in at least one of our core backend languages, including JavaScript or TypeScript on Node.js, Python, or PHP.
- You have deep technical knowledge of Postgres and Redis.
- You are comfortable working with distributed systems and relational databases.
- You have a knack for abstract thinking and can navigate undefined problems with ease.
- You are dedicated to code quality and know how to implement tools like linters, static analysis, and remote debuggers to keep systems healthy.
We would be particularly excited if you have a background in Adtech, a passion for Web3, or prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
