Frontend Engineer at Stardust

The role

We are searching for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this position, you will report directly to our Senior Product Manager and take ownership of developing our latest web applications. You will play a vital role in our engineering department, helping us refine the tools that power the next generation of gaming experiences.

Core responsibilities

• Design and build highly performant front-end systems for our web applications.
• Champion the use of modern front-end technologies while strictly adhering to security best practices.
• Work independently and collaboratively alongside our backend engineers and designers to deliver seamless products.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proactive mindset. We value candidates who can navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems with abstract thinking. Your qualifications should include:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in frontend engineering, ideally within a startup environment.
• Deep proficiency in React and either TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Jest and React Testing Library to ensure high-quality, well-tested code.
• A solid understanding of design patterns and general engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical challenges and proposed solutions.
• Bonus points if you have a passion for gaming and web3, or experience with Material UI and Playwright.
