Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Swellnetwork.io

Swell is a prominent force in the restaking sector. We currently manage over $1 billion in total value locked across our liquid staking token, liquid restaking token, and our upcoming Layer 2 network. Our mission is to accelerate the development of a new restaking ecosystem that empowers distributed applications to bootstrap their growth and security directly from Ethereum. As we mark the first anniversary of our mainnet, we are expanding our team with innovative professionals who are passionate about the future of the Ethereum ecosystem. This is a fully remote, full-time position, and we have a preference for candidates based in the APAC region.

Key outcomes

• Oversee the end-to-end development, deployment, and release of new product features across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and external partners across various project workstreams.
• Maintain a high standard of excellence and intellectual curiosity while contributing to the architectural design of our protocol.
• Build and support robust infrastructure within the Web3, crypto, and DeFi spaces.
• Uphold industry best practices regarding software development, rigorous testing, and system security.
• Operate with autonomy and agility to thrive in the fast-paced blockchain market, reporting directly to our Lead Developer or CTO.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, such as mathematics or physics.
• At least 5 years of professional experience working as a full stack software engineer.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical systems.
• Significant hands-on experience with Go, React, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern cloud technologies.
• Strong communication skills and experience working within small to medium-sized teams.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial experience specifically within Web3, crypto, or DeFi projects.
• Practical experience with smart contract development using Solidity.
• Deep commercial understanding of blockchain technology, specifically regarding the Ethereum and EVM environments.
• Knowledge of native restaking or liquid staking protocols.
• Prior experience in DevOps roles.
