We are Reserv, an insurtech company dedicated to modernizing the claims industry through advanced automation and AI. Since our founding in May 2022 by industry veterans, we have been backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures to solve complex manual challenges for TPAs and insurance providers. We are currently looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is an opportunity to shape our technical direction and build impactful solutions that directly improve operational efficiency for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate machine learning models and AI solutions using our core stack, which includes Python, AWS, Docker, Postgres, and Ruby on Rails.
- Work closely with our product and operations teams to pinpoint and rank high-impact machine learning opportunities.
- Architect, test, and deploy scalable machine learning systems that allow for fast iteration and reliable, secure performance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience as a data scientist with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
- Deep expertise in Python and essential libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end experiments, from setting up datasets and conducting hypothesis tests to performing rigorous outcome evaluations.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize customer needs and adapt quickly as project requirements evolve.
