The role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a critical role in shaping both our product strategy and our engineering organization. You will have the opportunity to build products from the ground up, ensuring that our technical solutions are as robust as they are user-friendly.

Core responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable systems from the ground up, balancing the need for speed with long-term maintainability.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex financial products, such as tax calculators and scenario builders, while ensuring strict correctness and performance.
• Collaborate on product strategy by scoping new features and determining the most effective technical approaches to deliver an elegant user experience.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have deep experience in building, deploying, and monitoring modern serverless or container-based systems. We value a bias for action and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs in a fast-paced environment. While you do not need to be an expert in every tool we use, proficiency in the following areas is highly beneficial:

• TypeScript development using NestJS and NextJS frameworks.
• Infrastructure management with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Data storage and management using Postgres and Redshift.
• Strong communication skills in English.
