At Addition Wealth, we are on a mission to democratize financial health by making personalized expertise accessible to everyone. We partner with major institutions to provide employees with digital tools, deep educational resources, and direct access to financial professionals. By helping people navigate complex money decisions, we reduce stress and empower individuals to make the most of their earnings. Backed by prominent fintech investors like Barclays and Anthemis, we have been recognized by Forbes, TechCrunch, and Business Insider as a rising force in the industry. We are looking for passionate individuals to join us in building a platform that fundamentally changes how people manage their financial lives.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a critical role in shaping both our product strategy and our engineering organization. Because we operate as a distributed team across the globe, we value autonomy and a strong sense of ownership. You will have the opportunity to build products from the ground up, ensuring that our technical solutions are as robust as they are user-friendly.
Core responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable systems from the ground up, balancing the need for speed with long-term maintainability.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex financial products, such as tax calculators and scenario builders, while ensuring strict correctness and performance.
- Collaborate on product strategy by scoping new features and determining the most effective technical approaches to deliver an elegant user experience.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have deep experience in building, deploying, and monitoring modern serverless or container-based systems. We value a bias for action and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs in a fast-paced environment. While you do not need to be an expert in every tool we use, proficiency in the following areas is highly beneficial:
- TypeScript development using NestJS and NextJS frameworks.
- Infrastructure management with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Data storage and management using Postgres and Redshift.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting our team members both professionally and personally. Our benefits package is designed to provide flexibility and long-term security:
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our collective success.
- Unlimited vacation policy to encourage a healthy work-life balance.
- 401(k) plan with employer matching.
- The freedom to work from anywhere in the world.
- Access to financial professionals to support your own financial health.
How to apply
If you are excited about the prospect of building high-impact financial tools and want to join a mission-driven team, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application, including your resume and any relevant project experience, to begin the conversation about how you can contribute to the future of Addition Wealth.
