We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As the largest vacation rental property management company in the world, Vacasa manages over 45,000 units and is currently expanding our presence in Prague. You will be a vital member of our Guest Division, helping us shape the future of travel by working on high-impact projects that reach millions of users. This is a hybrid role that offers you the chance to drive innovation while working alongside a talented team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the entire product development lifecycle, spanning from initial design and development to testing, release, and ongoing operations.
- Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code that adheres to our high engineering standards.
- Participate in collaborative design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and working closely with product managers to achieve our goals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with React.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with TypeScript, or a strong confidence in your ability to master the language quickly.
- Proven experience in modern backend development, specifically with Python/Django or TypeScript/NestJS.
- A deep commitment to maintainability, ensuring that the code you produce is robust and easy for the team to support.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and serverless architectures is highly valued.
