Are you ready to help shape the future of decentralized infrastructure by joining a team that is redefining how rollups interact? At Astria, we are building a shared sequencer network that eliminates the need for centralized sequencing. Our platform allows various rollups to tap into a single, permissionless network, ensuring fast block confirmations and robust censorship resistance. We are backed by top-tier investors like Maven11, 1kx, and Delphi Digital, and our team is composed of experts who have scaled major technology companies and contributed to the most influential crypto protocols. We operate as a remote-first organization, welcoming talent from anywhere in the world.
What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our core engineering team and the broader developer ecosystem, helping our partners succeed while ensuring our technology remains accessible and well-documented. You will work remotely from any location, though we ask that you maintain general availability between 10 AM and 2 PM Mountain Time. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, tutorials, and integration guides.
- Testing and reviewing code across our repositories to support smooth release processes.
- Representing Astria at industry conferences and within the global developer community to share our vision and gather feedback.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment. You should have at least three years of experience as an engineer and one year specifically in developer relations. We require proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java, alongside hands-on experience with cloud-native tools like Docker and Kubernetes. You must be comfortable working with open-source platforms like GitHub and possess excellent technical writing and presentation skills. Fluency in English is essential, as it is our primary language for all internal and external communication.
What we offer
We are committed to supporting our team members both personally and professionally. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to help you succeed in a remote setting.
- Remote work flexibility with a dedicated home office budget.
- Full health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Paid time off, including four weeks of accrued vacation, unlimited sick leave, and paid national holidays.
- Opportunities for professional development and conference attendance.
- Regular team gatherings and quarterly on-sites.
How to Apply
If you are passionate about decentralized technology and enjoy supporting developers, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our growing team and help us build the next generation of sequencer networks.
