Backend Engineer at Pennylane

The role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in Europe. You will join a large, collaborative tech organization where you will work within a dedicated squad to build, test, and release features that directly impact our users.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and designers during the discovery phase to define and shape new features.
• Design, build, and maintain software architecture while ensuring high code quality through testing and production releases.
• Monitor our platform and proactively fix issues to support our customers and ensure a seamless user experience.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-led environment. Our current technical stack includes Ruby on Rails, AWS, React, and TypeScript. Proficiency in English or French is required to communicate effectively within our international team, which currently represents over 26 nationalities.
