The role

We are looking for a Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. In this role, you will take ownership of machine learning projects from the initial design phase all the way through to deployment. You will be instrumental in developing solutions that improve our localization and business workflows, ensuring our models perform at their best to meet our organizational goals.

Core responsibilities

• Design and build machine learning models and algorithms tailored for localization tasks, including machine translation, LLM fine-tuning, and quality assurance.
• Manage the full lifecycle of key projects, ensuring technical requirements are met and that work moves efficiently from concept to production.
• Deploy and monitor production environments using AWS infrastructure and containerization tools like Docker to ensure high performance and reliability.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in data science and engineering. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• High proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Deep understanding of NLP techniques and machine learning algorithms.
• Practical experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, and Sagemaker.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• A track record of taking ownership of projects and mentoring junior colleagues.
