We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join our team on a full-time basis. Because we operate with an outcomes-first mindset, we offer a hybrid work environment where you can work from our Chicago headquarters or remotely from anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our enterprise SaaS product.
- Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure seamless deployment processes.
- Develop internal automation tools and infrastructure modules using Terraform, Ansible, Golang, and Python to improve our operational capabilities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, Go, and Datadog.
- Proven expertise in managing robust AWS environments and a solid understanding of security best practices, including penetration testing and CIS benchmarks.
- Strong proficiency with Git CLI and containerization technology using Docker.
- Experience with observability tools to monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
What we offer
