What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering group, you will play a vital role in maintaining the systems that allow our clients to engage with hundreds of millions of customers every year.

What will you do?

• Design and implement new architecture to scale our Django application to handle ten times the current traffic.
• Standardize and enhance our third-party integrations to ensure they remain fault-tolerant, scalable, and cost-effective.
• Take ownership of real-time marketing integrations, managing the flow from end-user actions to engagement through email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a skilled engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and building highly available systems. To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, specifically in owning and deploying projects that have a significant impact on your organization.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with front-end frameworks like React.
• A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively alongside product managers, technical operations teams, and other stakeholders.
• A preference for rapid iteration and a commitment to participating in our mentorship culture, where you will both teach and learn from your peers.
• Fluency in English to facilitate clear communication across our distributed team.
