About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and shipping high-quality software solutions that meet our rigorous technical standards. You will play a vital part in our engineering culture by contributing to technical discussions, shaping project epics, and mentoring other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our product and design teams to ensure our code directly addresses user needs and solves complex problems.
- Build, integrate, and maintain performant software systems while utilizing test-driven development practices.
- Support the growth of our engineering department by conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and participating in the assessment of new candidates.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in developing interactive web applications.
- Proven technical expertise in Go and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically Postgres.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- The ability to handle ITAR, export-controlled information, and controlled unclassified information.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
