Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates who can work during Eastern or Central time zones, specifically 9 to 5 Eastern or 8 to 4 Central. You will play a pivotal role in our engineering department, focusing on both new feature development and the maintenance of our existing cloud-based healthcare applications.
Your impact
- Design and build scalable, high-quality software solutions while balancing feature delivery with technical debt.
- Serve as a technical leader by mentoring junior and mid-level developers and fostering a culture of excellence through thorough code reviews and automated testing.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to plan, estimate, and execute complex projects within our cloud-based infrastructure.
What you'll need
You should have at least 5 years of software development experience, including a full-cycle implementation. We are looking for someone who thrives in an Agile environment and possesses a deep understanding of systems design. Your technical toolkit should include:
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services.
- A proven ability to build scalable, high-availability distributed systems with microservice back ends.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with a focus on writing clear, maintainable, and testable code.
- A 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience.
