Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Flashbots

The role

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world. In this senior role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our infrastructure remains reliable and secure as we continue to open-source our software and launch critical products. You will play a vital part in our technical operations, requiring a high level of expertise in maintaining complex systems.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to monitor, extend, and harden our production and development infrastructure with a focus on scalability.
• Take ownership of maintaining and improving our core infrastructure systems and CI/CD processes.
• Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement improvements to support our data initiatives like Mev-Explore.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience working as a problem solver within DevOps or SRE environments.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and Git-based workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
