Full Stack Engineer at Buildingswell

What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, and we are looking for candidates who can work within the PST to EST time zones. As a senior member of our early team, you will have significant autonomy to drive our technical direction and influence our architectural decisions from the ground up.

What will you do?

• Design, implement, test, and launch new features while managing the entire development lifecycle from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate directly with our customers and product team to craft effective solutions for complex, real-world problems.
• Work across our entire development ecosystem, including frontend, backend, and DevOps tasks, while balancing the need for rapid development with long-term maintainability.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience developing software in a web production environment. We value engineers who can take complex challenges and drive them to completion while maintaining a focus on clean, simple user experiences. You should be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, remote agile environment and possess strong communication skills in English.

We are looking for proficiency in the following areas:

• SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases.
• TypeScript and JavaScript.
• React for frontend development.
• NodeJS and Express for backend services.
• PostgreSQL and AWS infrastructure.
