The role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, as we trust our teams to decide the best balance between remote and in-office collaboration based on their specific needs. You will be working in a dynamic environment where you have the autonomy to define your own goals and tasks over three-month cycles.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and fellow engineers from the initial planning phase to define product strategy and execute technical implementation.
- Architect and maintain high-quality systems using Go within a Kubernetes-based microservices environment.
- Communicate your technical ideas and project progress clearly to the team using tools like GitHub to ensure transparency and collective understanding.
Skills and experience
To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable working in a highly autonomous environment where you are responsible for your own output and direction. We value engineers who are passionate about learning new technologies and who can effectively manage the complexity that comes with a high-degree of architectural freedom. Proficiency in Japanese is required for daily collaboration and documentation.
