We are looking for a dedicated software engineer to join our Advanced Mission Management organization. Our team focuses on delivering critical analytics, mission planning, and command and control capabilities that support our nation's next generation of satellite ground systems. By working with us, you will help develop software-intensive systems that directly assist intelligence and defense stakeholders in their daily operations.
What is this role?
We are seeking a C2 Front End UI Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position that requires a hybrid work arrangement, meaning you will perform some work onsite at our locations in Herndon or Leesburg, Virginia, or Mesa, Arizona. Please note that this role requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI eligible security clearance and U.S. citizenship, and you must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph after starting.
What will you do?
- Design, code, and perform unit and integration testing for front-end user interface features that meet our customers' specific mission needs.
- Develop and modify software products while contributing to the creation of distributed components that align with our long-term system architecture.
- Collaborate closely with peers, leadership, and product stakeholders to ensure software tasks are completed according to our roadmap and quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid technical foundation and a passion for building robust user interfaces. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- At least one year of experience in developing web-based UI applications and object-oriented software development, such as Java or C++.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, Redux, Angular, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with RESTful Web Services and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevSecOps tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams.
