At Quilter, we are on a mission to transform the world of electrical engineering by automating the complex and time-consuming process of designing printed circuit boards. Our team brings together experts in electromagnetic simulation, machine learning, and high-performance computing to solve a massive, decades-old industry challenge. Having secured 25 million dollars in Series B funding, we are growing rapidly and looking for talented individuals who share our core values of curiosity, conviction, and rigor to help us build the future of hardware design.
What you'll be doing
- Architect and implement high-performance C++ libraries, algorithms, and systems to tackle routing, optimization, and simulation tasks.
- Design scalable data structures and computational methods that address the most difficult challenges in modern PCB design.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while providing technical mentorship and guidance to elevate our collective engineering standards.
What you'll bring
- Three to ten years of professional experience maintaining and scaling large, high-performance C++ codebases within a collaborative team environment.
- A strong academic or professional background in fields such as computational geometry, graph algorithms, numerical methods, or physics simulation.
- Proficiency in Python, which you will use for prototyping and integrating with our machine learning systems.
- Excellent mathematical intuition and the ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into robust production systems.
- Strong communication skills in English and a desire to lead by mentoring peers and shaping technical roadmaps.
What you'll get
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our long-term success.
