We are building the devops operating system, an integrated platform designed to orchestrate application delivery to the cloud from start to finish. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help us shape the future of our open source platform while fostering a culture of autonomy and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop our core platform using the Go programming language.
- Collaborate directly with our internal teams, users, and clients.
- Engage with the open source community to help DevOps engineers build their platforms using Dagger.
- Integrate our technology with various cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
- Mentor team members and contribute to upstream open source projects like Buildkit and other container technologies.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Strong proficiency with Go and the internals of Docker containers.
- Practical experience with cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, either as a user or a developer.
- Familiarity with moby/buildkit or similar build technologies.
- Experience working with microservice architectures and operating systems at a global scale.
- The ability to discuss design and performance tradeoffs in complex systems.
- Professional proficiency in English.
