What you bring
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our core platform, establishing our engineering culture, and maintaining high standards as we scale. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will be an essential part of our engineering team, focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Developing our product using the Go programming language.
- Collaborating directly with our internal teams, our users, and our clients.
- Supporting the open source community by helping DevOps engineers build their platforms using Dagger.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced generalist who enjoys shipping products quickly and has a background in building tools for developers. You should have at least 5 years of experience in a senior engineering capacity. A strong command of Go and Docker internals is essential, as is experience working with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure. We value candidates who have worked with build technologies such as moby/buildkit and possess a deep understanding of microservice architectures. You should be comfortable discussing complex design tradeoffs and performance considerations, and you must be proficient in English to communicate effectively within our global, remote-first team.
