HackerOne is a global leader in Continuous Threat Exposure Management, helping organizations secure their digital ecosystems through a combination of agentic AI solutions and the world’s largest community of security researchers. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, AI Engineering for a full-time, remote-friendly position. In this role, you will lead the development of our AI-native intelligence dashboards and oversee our critical payments and monetization systems. You will guide senior engineering teams to ship high-impact, AI-powered capabilities that provide our customers with proactive risk insights and automated remediation.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior engineers and managers to build scalable, AI-powered solutions that deliver consistent, measurable value to our customers.
- Own the execution and delivery of complex product surfaces, ensuring that our AI workflows and payment systems remain reliable, performant, and aligned with company strategy.
- Drive an AI-first engineering culture by integrating agentic systems and responsible AI practices into our design, development, and operational processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing product engineering teams, specifically those focused on AI-powered or data-intensive systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams through complex dependencies while mentoring other engineering managers.
- A strong technical foundation in modern software development, with preference given to candidates familiar with our core stack, including PostgreSQL, Rails, GraphQL, Apollo, and React.
- Experience building or scaling applied AI systems in production environments, including familiarity with human-in-the-loop or automation-driven workflows.
- A background in fintech, payments, or monetization systems is highly desirable.
