DevOps Engineer at Mako

We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis to help us advance our technical infrastructure.

Key outcomes

• Take full ownership of our CI/CD pipelines to enhance developer productivity across the organization.
• Optimize build speeds to ensure efficient delivery cycles for our proprietary trading algorithms and pricing models.
• Manage the distribution and scheduling of build loads across various machines and global regions.
• Develop and refine deployment automation processes to simplify our release workflows.
• Build custom tooling designed to support and improve our internal development processes.
• Collaborate closely with traders, hardware specialists, and support staff within our agile, self-organizing teams.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with modern build and deployment automation tools, with a strong preference for Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux, BASH, and Python.
• A deep understanding of Agile methodologies and a commitment to best practices like unit testing and peer review.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
