We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative, internally known as a Market Growth Specialist, to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This is a unique opportunity to help design a new growth function within our established company while gaining deep expertise in risk advisory and insurance.
Key outcomes
- Conduct thorough research on target accounts to identify potential leads and business opportunities.
- Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies across email, phone, and social media platforms.
- Engage prospects by sharing relevant content and inviting them to industry events to facilitate meetings for our Account Executives.
- Collaborate closely with our Marketing team to refine campaigns and move leads effectively through the sales funnel.
- Identify prospect challenges and provide actionable feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Help establish scalable, repeatable processes for acquiring new customers and identifying cross-selling opportunities for our existing client base.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen, write, and speak effectively.
- A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to think creatively when navigating complex situations.
- A proactive, action-oriented mindset with strong organizational capabilities.
- The ability to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license within 90 days of your start date, which includes completing a 52-hour training course and passing the California state exam.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working within the insurance sector or a similar B2B service-based industry.
- Experience engaging with C-suite executives.
- Technical proficiency with sales and marketing tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $97,000, with the final offer determined by your specific expertise, experience, and geography. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an incentive program based on both individual and company performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
