Role at a glance
We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to join our data platform team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates who can work Eastern Time hours. You will be joining a small, close-knit group of seasoned engineers to help us build and refine the infrastructure that powers our machine learning predictions.
Your impact
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to move data efficiently across our ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to architect robust data models that support both analytical and operational needs.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from conceiving new features and writing secure code to testing, deploying, and supporting your work in production.
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, specifically within data engineering or ML platforms.
- Strong proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Practical experience with cloud-based data solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing, along with experience using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a remote, agile environment while maintaining a focus on high-quality, secure software.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related engineering field.
