Our platform uses a proprietary smart-charging algorithm to process real-time data, allowing drivers to charge their vehicles overnight using renewable energy. This process effectively reduces carbon emissions from charging by up to 70 percent. As the demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, we are helping to alleviate strain on the power grid by partnering with over 30 utility companies across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Our team of over 100 professionals includes experts from organizations like Tesla, Amazon, and National Grid, and we are backed by 50 million USD in funding from prominent venture capital firms. We are now looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to join our Solutions team and help us continue our mission.
Key outcomes
- Collaborate directly with our utility and EVSE manufacturer partners to identify their unique challenges and design effective technical solutions using our platform.
- Develop and maintain our web applications using TypeScript and React.
- Build and improve our mobile applications using React Native.
- Work cross-functionally with our product, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure our solutions meet client needs.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience developing customer-facing React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong technical proficiency in TypeScript, React, and React Native.
- Familiarity with React Navigation, Redux, React Query, and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, and distributed work environment.
- A genuine interest in the electric vehicle industry or a passion for environmental sustainability.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working on white-labeled software solutions.
